Finnish government supports studies abroad
In Finland, student financial aid is available for full-time post-comprehensive school studies lasting at least two months in an upper secondary school, folk high school, vocational school or institution of higher education. For those studying outside Finland, the study grant is paid at the same rate as it would be in Finland.
In the academic year 2023/2024, there were 6,512 recipients of study support studying abroad from Finland. (source: The Social Insurance Institution (Kela) study support statistics)
